Information you enter
HomeCue lets you enter a home name, address, property details, maintenance tasks, notes, appliance information, service dates, and warranty or receipt details. You may also choose photos and documents to save with your maintenance records.
This information is stored locally in HomeCue on your device. HomeCue does not send it to a HomeCue account, server, or cloud service.
Apple Maps
HomeCue uses Apple Maps when you search for and verify a home address or search for nearby contractors. Those requests are handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. HomeCue does not store Apple Maps search results on a developer server.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, HomeCue schedules maintenance reminders locally on your device. You can change notification access in iOS Settings.
Retailer links
HomeCue may provide links to Amazon for relevant parts and tools. Links marked Paid link are affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
When you open a paid link, the URL includes generic search terms for the selected item and HomeCue's Amazon Associate identifier. HomeCue does not add your home profile, address, maintenance history, photos, documents, device identifier, name, contact information, or payment information to the link.
Amazon may attribute eligible purchases to HomeCue and pay HomeCue a commission at no extra cost to you. HomeCue may receive account level reports about link activity, ordered or shipped items, and earned commissions. These reports do not provide HomeCue with your name, contact information, delivery address, payment information, or HomeCue profile data. Amazon's privacy policy and terms apply when you use Amazon.
Analytics, advertising, and tracking
HomeCue does not include third party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. HomeCue does not sell personal information.
Data retention and deletion
Your information remains on your device until you delete it or remove the app. Inventory records and their documents can be deleted inside HomeCue. Removing HomeCue deletes its locally stored data, subject to normal device backup behavior controlled by Apple and your device settings.
Children
HomeCue is a general home organization utility and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
This policy may be updated when HomeCue features or data practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
